Licensed Clinical Psychologist · CA · CO & MA Pending
Therapy focused on process, not protocol — building the awareness, openness, and active engagement that create lasting mental flexibility and resilience.
About
Healing arts have always been part of my family — across generations, through both Western medicine and Chinese healing traditions. Growing up around that shaped how I understand what it means to support someone through challenging times.
I see my role as a collaborator. I have expertise in the process — the frameworks, the clinical tools, the pathways toward change — but you're the expert on yourself. What feels right, what doesn't, what fits your life. We figure that out together.
I try to practice what I preach. Building a life that's fun and fulfilling — not just functional — is something I take seriously. Outside the office I spend time with friends and their families, go to concerts, get out in the sun, and rotate through a collection of hobbies that currently includes baking, painting, making jewelry, and puzzles. I believe therapy can be a place where there's room for laughter, not just hard work.
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist whose work is centered on process — not manualized treatment or one-size-fits-all techniques. The goal is mental flexibility and resilience: the capacity to be aware of what's happening inside you, open to it rather than be controlled by it, and actively engaged in a life that reflects what matters to you.
Together, we identify the specific processes keeping you from that — the ways you think, relate, avoid, or engage — and work to shift them. The question isn't just what is hard, but how it stays hard, and what it takes to move differently.
I work with the whole person — including identity, culture, and the particular weight of navigating worlds that weren't always built with you in mind.
My work spans adolescents and adults, families and individuals — including trauma-informed care, parent coaching, performance and burnout, identity and transitions, and psychedelic-assisted therapy (facilitation-in-training, Colorado).
Services
Across all of my work, the aim is the same: greater mental flexibility and resilience — the awareness to see what's happening, the openness to engage with it, and the capacity to keep moving toward what matters.
That flexibility extends outward too. As we shift the processes that keep you stuck, most people find they begin to relate differently — to themselves with more compassion and clarity, to others with more presence and less reactivity, and to the world with a broader sense of what's possible. That includes how you hold your own identity, history, and the contexts that have shaped you.

My practice is private pay. This preserves your privacy, eliminates diagnostic requirements for coverage, and allows us to work together without the constraints of managed care.
I provide a monthly superbill (itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse a meaningful portion of therapy costs — I encourage you to verify your benefits.
I also work with clients who are ready for more intensive engagement — longer sessions or multiple sessions per week. If you're looking for that kind of depth, please mention it when we connect and we can discuss what structure would serve you best.
A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available on a case-by-case basis. If cost is a concern, please mention it when we speak — I'd rather find a way to work together than not.
