Specialty
You've probably already tried the breathing exercises. The apps. The journaling. And yet here you are. Anxiety that's real and persistent usually has something underneath it — and that's what we're going to work on.
Begin HereWhat It Looks Like
For a lot of the people I work with, anxiety doesn't look like panic attacks in the grocery store. It looks like a very capable person who is quietly exhausted — someone who holds everything together, performs well, and still can't quite turn their brain off at the end of the day.
It shows up as a persistent low hum of worry. The inability to be fully present. Overthinking decisions that shouldn't be this hard. A sense that something bad is always about to happen, even when nothing is wrong.
Sometimes it looks like perfectionism, or people-pleasing, or being extremely competent at managing everything except the feeling that you're always one step away from falling apart.
How I Work With This
Managing anxiety is not the same as understanding it. Coping strategies have their place — but most people who've lived with anxiety for years have already tried the coping strategies. They're looking for something more.
My approach is depth-oriented. That means we're interested in what the anxiety is actually about — what it's protecting, what it's responding to, what patterns and beliefs are running underneath it. That kind of understanding doesn't just reduce symptoms; it changes your relationship with yourself.
I work directly and collaboratively. I'll name what I notice, I'll ask the questions that matter, and I'll be honest with you about what I see — in a way that feels safe enough to actually look at. I won't just reflect your feelings back to you. We'll actually work.
Sessions are virtual, which means I work with clients throughout California and Massachusetts — and wherever life takes you within those states.
